The real problem isn't compression. It's that your body doesn't hold still. A garment sized to one point on a chart is too tight in week one and useless by week five.

Casa Curva's closure runs across ten columns of hook-and-eye, so one garment covers a range of measurements. When your body changes, you move a column.

Getting into it

Step in through the legs rather than pulling it over your head. Work it up to your hips first, then your waist, then the shoulders. Sit down for the last part if standing is a stretch.

Setting the closure

Start on the loosest column. Fasten from the bottom up, not the top down — it distributes the tension and stops the garment twisting.

Then check three things: you can take a full breath, you can hold a conversation, and nothing is pressing sharply anywhere. If all three pass, that's your column.

Moving in as you change

When the garment starts feeling loose, move in one column. Not two. Give it a day before deciding it's still loose.

When you run out of columns, that's the point to go down a size — not before.

Using the bathroom

The gusset opens on hook-and-eye. Unfasten, use the bathroom, refasten — the garment stays on and stays set. You don't undo the front closure, you don't step out of it, and you don't need anyone's help.

It fastens closed rather than sitting permanently open, so there's no gap pulling or rubbing where you don't want it.

What size do I order?

Measure three places today: waist at the narrowest point, hips at the fullest, underbust. Order for where you are now, not where you were or expect to be. The closure range covers the rest.

How do I know the fit is right?

Three checks. You can take a full breath. You can hold a conversation. Nothing is pressing sharply anywhere. If all three pass, that's your setting.

Is it going to be too tight to breathe in?It shouldn't be. Firm and painful are different things. If you can't breathe deeply or talk comfortably, the size or the column is wrong — that's a sizing signal, not something to push through.

Sizing a compression garment is genuinely hard, especially when your measurements are changing. So you get one size exchange within 30 days of delivery, on a garment that's been tried on but not worn.

How to try it on so the exchange stays open

Try it on over clothing — leggings, a slip, anything. That tells you whether the size is right without the garment touching your skin. Keep the tags attached and the hygiene liner in place until you're sure.
